Product description

Supplied with inbuilt thermal protection and power isolation capability, these are suitable for installation on RCD or RCBO circuits. If excessive heating occurs – because of a fault or an overload – the socket will automatically disconnect the electrical supply to prevent the risk of fire. The integral thermal indicator on socket front plate permanently changes colour to provide easy identification of any affected socket.

By responding to temperatures of 80ºC ± 5°C and before any signs of fire, the activation of the WES Hotspot Multi Point Sensor can send an immediate notification to relevent personnel via the buidlings alarm system, or a mobile device using the WES REACT system. The system has the option to automatically isolate power via a Residual Current Device (RCD).

WES Hotspot is simple to fit and can be subjected to all routine installation tests including insulation tests. Available in various sizes from 2 to 18 points, WES Hotspot can be installed to accommodate a variety of consumer or distribution board layouts.
